This version of Firefox will continue support for 10.6-10.8 until sometime in April 2017, but should still be able to use this for sometime after this period. And symbol on mac. At least this browser is a LOT more up to date than the 10.8 version of Safari. I am forced to stay with OS X 10.8.5 Mountain Lion AND 10.9.5 Mavericks.
I have a 2007 mac desktop with OSX 10.8.5 which I am told is not supported by Mac any longer. I am told that Safari is no longer any good, that I have to find another browser, but I have the same response with Firefox & Google Chrome. They are telling me I need to update my OSX but Mac will not let me download Sierra. I don't know what to do, my Mac is still performing well and its still doing the job for me. What am I supposed to do ….replace my computer ?
Its still working fine except for the messages, and very soon I will not have a browser at all.

Microsoft Browser For Mac
I really hate having to buy new macs every few years. Between the machines and the software it is a big investment and a whole lot of time setting things up and learning how to use it.
I usually keep my macs as long as I can. My only problem now is the browsers. Firefox, Chrome and Safari don't seems to want to support 10.5.8. At least FF and Safari run but there are some sites I visit that don't work well with those old versions and the new versions can't be installed on 10.5.8.
Any suggestions on a browser that will let my macs live a little longer?
